Return Policy

We know that sometimes your purchases don’t ultimately fit your needs so we gladly accept returns for a period of 1 year from purchase with the following guidelines:

  1. You MUST get a Return Authorization Number (RMA) by email: customercare@surfaceanddecor.com
  2. During the first 5 day period you can return for a 15% restocking fee if your order is less than $250. If it is over $250 then there will be a 30% restocking fee. Any order over $500 is considered special order and will be subject to 50% restocking fee. You will however be responsible for return freight and signature would be needed.
  3. After that 5 day period a 30% restocking fee will be applied against your account for all returns under $500 and 50% for orders over %500.
  4. All products need to be received in good condition and if bought in full cartons returned in full cartons. No partial cartons unless purchased that way.
  5. Include copy of your invoice.
  6. Customer will be responsible for paying for the return freight and should require signature so to ensure we receive it as well as insure it in case it is damaged in shipment.
  7. Once we receive return in same condition refund will be issued less above where applicable and original freight that was free.
  8. We do not refund samples since the cost of handling and freight would cost us both more than the value of the product.  A sample is considered one piece of a particular tile.
  9. We do not accept partial returns of complete orders.

Cancellation Policy:

  1. Orders cannot be cancelled after they have been shipped.
  2. Follow the refund policy above to return product.
  3. Orders returned due to non-acceptance will incur 40% restocking fee.

Damaged Shipments:

  1. If you receive damaged goods please notify us with 24 hours of receipt of shipment.
  2. Please take photos and get copies of proof of delivery.
  3. Don’t refuse shipment.

Defective Material:

  1. Claims for defective need to be received prior to installation.  Claims will not be honored after product has been installed.
  2. Take photos and email to customercare@surfaceanddecor.com if you notice a defect.
  3. It is best to always lay the product out before installing to see how it looks.  On occasion products can be different shades if they come from a different run.
  4. Upon approval Surface Decor will replace at NO CHARGE the material and ship to you promptly.
